On this site, the TERRA-HAMMER TR 360 was used for the trenchless installation of a steel pipe. After preparing and securing the pits, the rammer was precisely positioned and connected to the steel pipe. The pipe was then driven through the ground in a controlled manner—efficiently and with minimal surface disruption.

Maximum impact force, precise pipe driving, and proven Swiss engineering – the TERRA-HAMMER TR 565 is reliably driving large-diameter steel pipes through the ground in Guadeloupe.

Compact in the pit, powerful in action: With the TERRA-PIT DJ 18, guided bores start directly at the correct depth—precise, efficient, and without unnecessary drilling distance.

The TERRA-JET DJ 23 AT proves its strengths even under the most demanding conditions: during an uphill bore through soft soil and solid rock, the pilot hole was executed with pinpoint accuracy using a roller bit. The hole was then enlarged with a reamer, and utilities such as district heating pipes were successfully installed trenchlessly over distances of up to 150 m.

With the new TERRA-JET DJ 66e, TERRA is consistently pursuing the path of electrification. After more than two years of development, TERRA is proud to present a powerful, fully electric HDD drilling rig. With 30 tons of pullback and thrust force, 12,500 Nm of torque, and a rated output of 100 kW, the DJ 66e delivers full power for demanding horizontal drilling.

In September 2025, TERRA celebrated its 50th anniversary together with customers, dealers, partners, and employees from all over the world. The program featured exciting machine demonstrations and insights into the development of our all-electric drilling rigs, followed by a joint anniversary celebration complete with a BBQ, live band, and entertainment. It was an unforgettable day and a great success – here’s to the next 50 years of TERRA!

From February 4–5, 2027, TERRA will be at the 37th Oldenburg Pipe Forum (IRO) in Oldenburg. Visit us at our outdoor booth and discover our solutions for trenchless pipe installation.

From January 21 to 23, 2027, TERRA will be at BAUMAG in Lucerne. Visit us in Hall 2, Booth A 16, and discover our solutions for trenchless pipe installation.

In Germany, a 30-meter HDPE water pipeline was installed trenchlessly using the TERRA-JACK 200. Despite the challenging, hard ground conditions, the steerable guided boring process was executed with precision from the secured starting pit to the target pit.

TERRA wins the prestigious 2026 TYTAN Award for Product of the Year with its all-electric TERRA-JET DJ 66e HDD drilling rig. The award recognizes the innovative technology of the 30-ton drilling rig and confirms TERRA's consistent commitment to electrification. A significant milestone and special recognition for the development work of the entire TERRA team.

A challenging HDD project involving variable geology and an elevation change of around 60 meters: In Switzerland, a new DN 200 water pipeline was installed trenchlessly over a distance of 250 meters using the TERRA-JET DJ 40 AT. A large portion of the pilot bore was drilled through rock.

An existing PE water pipeline was successfully rehabilitated trenchlessly using the TERRA-EXTRACTOR X 400. A special PE toothed disc blade was used to cleanly cut the old PE line while simultaneously creating space for the new water pipe to be pulled in.

In the Netherlands, the all-electric TERRA-JET DJ 66e HDD drilling rig was used for the trenchless installation of a district heating pipeline. A pipe with a diameter of over 315 mm was installed over a distance of more than 400 m. This challenging project impressively demonstrated the performance of the all-electric drive concept under real-world construction site conditions.

Outside of St. Gallen, an existing pipeline was replaced over a length of approximately 100 m using a trenchless method. The TERRA-HYDROCRACK HC 625 was used to burst the old pipe while simultaneously pulling a new Ø 200 mm HDPE pipe into the existing pipeline route. This approach eliminated the need for extensive excavation work along the section.
