TERRA-JET DJ 40 AT

The DJ 40 AT is equipped with a total of 32 dual rods, which results in a magazine capacity of 146 m. If longer drilling distances are required, individual drill rods can be refilled via the reloading system. The forged, 4.57 m long dual rods have a bending radius of 52 m.

The particularly large and comfortable cabin of the TERRA-JET DJ 40 AT offers perfect all-round visibility. It is fully glazed and fitted with tinted windows. Other features, such as air conditioning, a radio system and a cool box, are also integrated.
The comfort cabin can be swung out up to 90°, even when the drill master is sitting in it. In this way, he can easily choose the best cabin position for him, for example to be able to optimally view the breakaway device.

With a flow rate of 510 l/min, the DJ 40 AT has the highest in its class. Thanks to a pressure sensor on the suction side, the pump cannot empty when the tank is empty. The wear and tear is reduced and their lifespan is increased.

The DJ 40 AT can also be optionally equipped with interchangeable half magazines (12 rods per magazine). These can be quickly replaced on the construction site.

TERRA offers various rock drilling tools. During pilot drilling, the inner linkage running through the Rockmaster reaches up to 255 rpm. Depending on the surface, it can be fitted with a roller or PDC chisel.

The TERRA-JET 40 AT has two thrust motors, which transfer the force of 181 kN (18 t) via a rack and pinion drive. The rotary drive saddle has a torque of 8,000 Nm on the outer rod and a torque of 2,400 Nm on the inner rod. A spindle speed of up to 255 rpm is achieved.

The DJ 40 AT is equipped with a patented oscillating drill ramp. It allows entry angles of 19% - 36% (11° - 20°). The steel crawler chassis always stays on the ground.
