More range, same precision.

‍

The TERRA piercing tool ø 80 mm offers the ideal combination of speed, accuracy, and reliability for a wide range of trenchless installation tasks. Thanks to the short and long versions, it can be flexibly adapted to specific job site conditions. The quick-reverse feature ensures comfortable and efficient operation.

The TERRA-HAMMER soil displacement hammer ø 80 mm combines high impact energy with versatile application possibilities. It is suitable for installing PE pipes up to ø 68 mm and can be used with an expander for pipe diameters up to ø 125 mm. For steel pipes, it is suitable for inner diameters from 50 to 170 mm (2–7").

The soil displacement hammer is available in a short version at 0.88 m and 24 kg, and a long version at 1.41 m and 39 kg. With an operating pressure of 7 bar and an air consumption of only 1.8 m³/min, it offers a powerful and efficient solution for trenchless pipe installation.

The TERRA lubricator version S ensures reliable and consistent lubrication of the machine during operation. The stepless control of the oil flow rate allows for precise adjustment of the oil quantity to the respective operating conditions. Thanks to the integrated start-stop valve, the oil supply can be easily and quickly interrupted or reactivated. The robust design makes the TERRA lubricator version S particularly durable and ideal for demanding use on construction sites. A simple, reliable, and efficient solution for the continuous lubrication of your machine.

TERRA soil displacement hammer oil is a high-quality, biodegradable special oil developed specifically for use with TERRA soil displacement hammers. It ensures reliable lubrication while simultaneously protecting the machine against rust and internal icing. The oil is available in practical 5-liter canisters and is ideal for professional construction site use.

TERRA's locatable head adapters enable precise tracking exactly where it is needed – in the head of the soil displacement hammer. The sonde is inserted into the side of the adapter and reliably protected from vibrations by robust damping buffers. The sonde operates at a frequency of 44 kHz and allows the soil displacement hammer to be tracked at a depth of up to approx. 4 meters. This means the position of the soil displacement hammer can be reliably determined at any time – without the tracking unit being located at the rear end of the hose. Precise tracking. Robust protection. Directly in the soil displacement hammer head.

TERRA expander sleeves allow you to use the same soil displacement hammer to create bores significantly larger than the diameter of the tool itself. This enables the installation of larger pipes without needing to switch to a larger soil displacement hammer. The process is carried out in two stages: first, a pilot bore is created using the TERRA soil displacement hammer. Then, the expander sleeve is attached, and the existing bore is enlarged to the desired diameter. As the soil displacement hammer moves forward, it pulls the expander sleeve along, enlarging the bore efficiently and in a controlled manner.

For the ø 80 mm soil displacement hammer, TERRA offers expander sleeves up to 135 mm (for PE pipes <125 mm).

TERRA cable clamps enable safe and reliable direct pipe installation with the TERRA soil displacement hammer. The PE pipe is connected directly to the soil displacement hammer and pulled into the ground simultaneously during the boring process. The steel cable is attached to the soil displacement hammer and securely connected to the PE pipe via the cable clamp. This ensures that the pulling force is reliably transferred to the pipe, maintaining a stable connection throughout the entire operation.
