TERRA-EXTRACTOR X 100 - the perfect machine for your house connection rehabilitation
The TERRA-EXTRACTOR X 100 is an extremely compact and powerful cable burster for rehabilitating old house connections. Equipped with a ø 13 mm pulling cable, the X 100 can be used for renewing pipes made of plastic, lead, or thin-walled steel. Bursting with TERRA cable bursters offers high flexibility. Thanks to its compact design and small footprint, minimal excavation pits are required. Its user-friendly, modular design facilitates work on the construction site. It is easy to transport and can be installed quickly and conveniently.

The X 100 allows for the fast, economical, and trenchless rehabilitation of old PE and PVC plastic pipes with diameters ranging from ø 25–63 mm. Special PE cutting blades precisely cut the old pipe into two halves and displace the material to the side in a controlled manner. Lead-in blades open the plastic pipe directly in front of the machine as it is powerfully pushed out of the ground. This enables the X 100 to perform efficient and clean rehabilitation – ideal for house connections and short pipe sections. The result: high daily output, minimal surface disruption, and rapid restoration of the pipeline.

Thin-walled steel pipes are efficiently cut open with powerful 3-wing blades or innovative roller blades. With the world's smallest roller blade for pipe dimensions from 1 ¼" to 2", TERRA sets new standards in trenchless rehabilitation technology. Even sleeves and hard connections are reliably cracked and safely broken open. The result is a fast, controlled, and economical rehabilitation – ideal for house connections and tight pipe dimensions.

Old lead pipes are safely and efficiently renewed using the patented 2-stage process. To prevent the old pipe from buckling, the lead pipe is first precisely cut into three strips with special lead blades. In the second step, the old pipe is controlledly displaced sideways while the new pipe is simultaneously pulled in. This well-thought-out process enables gentle, trenchless rehabilitation with high process reliability – even for demanding house connections.

Powered by a robust 23 HP petrol engine, the X 100 achieves a maximum pulling force of 10 tons at 175 bar. The powerful and durable power unit ensures reliable operation and enables fast, economical completion of your construction projects. Thanks to its low operating pressure, a mini-excavator with a quick-change system can also be used as an alternative drive to the hydraulic power unit. A clever and flexible solution from TERRA that saves time, reduces costs, and offers maximum efficiency on the construction site.

The clamps of the TERRA cable bursters are true high-tech components – designed for maximum holding force even with dirty or slippery pulling ropes under full load. Four clamping jaws with patented groove base clearance ensure secure contact – with both new and used, dirty ropes. The main clamp reliably grips the pulling rope, while the hydraulic cylinder powerfully pushes it upwards. Simultaneously, the counter clamp keeps the pulling rope permanently under tension while the main clamp retracts and re-engages. The result: maximum pulling force, highest operational reliability, and an efficient workflow on the construction site.
Your advantages
Rehabilitation of old plastic pipes
With the X 100 cable burster, house connections made of PE/PVC requiring rehabilitation can be renewed quickly and easily. The specially hardened PE blades cut open the old pipe, allowing a new HDPE pipe to be pulled in.
Rehabilitation of old thin-walled steel
Thin-walled steel pipes are quickly and precisely cut open with powerful 3-blade or innovative roller knives. Even sleeves and hard connections are reliably broken – for economical and trenchless rehabilitation of house connections and small pipe dimensions.
Rehabilitation of old lead pipes
Old lead pipes are safely and trenchlessly renewed using the patented 2-stage process. Special lead knives precisely cut open the old pipe before it is controllably displaced and the new pipe is simultaneously pulled in.
Drive via power unit or mini-excavator
Powered by a robust 23 HP petrol engine, the X 100 achieves a pulling force of up to 10 tons at 175 bar. Thanks to its low operating pressure, a mini-excavator with a quick-change system can also be used as an alternative drive – for maximum flexibility and efficiency on the construction site.
